The last date for apply revaluation after you get photocopy will be 24 of Feb (Not Officialy announced) .

UREVALUATION PROCEDURE
NOVEMBER-DECEMBER 2013 EXAMINATIONS

1. The candidates who have obtained the photocopy of the answer scripts alone are
eligible for applying for revaluation.


2. The answer script is to be valued and justified by a faculty member of thecollege, who handled the subject, and he/she should recommend forrevaluation with the breakup of marks for each question in the format provided in the “Instructions to the Candidates” enclosed along with the photocopy of the
Answer Script.


3. The candidates can register for revaluation of answer scripts only in the COE
web portal through the college. The Principals of the Colleges may arrange for
the registration of the courses through the COE Web portal. The manual
applications will not be accepted by the Office of the Controller of Examinations.


4. After registration the applications have to be generated for each student and the
same may be sent to the office of the Controller of Examinations along with the
abstract generated for the college and the amount of money in the form of
demand draft drawn in favour of the Controller of Examinations, Anna
University, Chennai – 25.

5. The fee for revaluation is Rs.400/- per script. A student can register for a
maximum of 5 answer scripts for revaluation.

6. The web portal will be opened for registration from 21-02-2014 at 10.00AM and
will be closed strictly on 26-02-2014 at 9.00AM.

NEW REVALUATION PROCEDURE TO BE FOLLOWED FROM NOVEMBER/DECEMBER 2013 UNIVERSITY EXAMINATIONS ONWARDS

Reason beyond change of revaluation procedure Explained By  Anna University 


   "After the publication of the results by the Office of the Controller of Examinations, the procedure of revaluation is followed. In the revaluation system, the variation in valuation of answer scripts is a common phenomenon. It is a known fact that even if the same examiner values the answer scripts more than once, the variation will be there. When it comes to different examiners, variation is likely to be more. However, if the variation is beyond 15 marks between two examiners, it is considered as abnormal variation. When we analyzed the variation between the first examiner and the revaluing examiner, we found that the variation was very high, which is unacceptable. Also the present system invites criticism from academics as well as from the society. To avoid such variation and criticism, it is necessary to incorporate changes in our revaluation system. A committee was constituted in this regard and it suggested the following revised revaluation procedure which is to be adopted from the November/December 2013 onwards. "


REVISED REVALUATION PROCEDURE TO BE FOLLOWED FROM NOVEMBER/DECEMBER 2013 UNIVERSITY EXAMINATIONS ONWARDS



1. Candidates who wish to apply for revaluation should first apply for photocopy of his/her answer script by paying Rs. 300 per script on or before the last date for applying photocopy.

 2. After receiving the photocopy, the student can verify the copy for any discrepancy like total mistake and omission in the valuation.

 3. If any discrepancy is noticed the same may be brought to the notice of the Controller of Examinations for remedial action.

 4. The valuation in the photocopy of the answer script can be verified by the subject expert and if the expert is convinced that the script deserves higher marks than awarded, he/she can recommend for applying revaluation.



5. The student can apply for revaluation by paying Rs. 400 towards revaluation fee on or before the last date for applying revaluation.

 6. Even after the revaluation, if the student is still not satisfied with the result, he/she can opt for review of his/her answer script by paying the prescribed fee. The review procedure will be intimated along with the revaluation result.

 7. There is no change in the existing review procedure.

Anna University Low Attendance ( Below 75 % ) . Cant Get The Hall Ticket For April May 2014


Dear Students ,

 We updates that Anna university portal opened for generating hall tickets for students on 10th of this month and hall tickets will be generated by 13-05-14 evening 6pm. But Anna University closed the Generation Link today . As they Mentioned earlier Hall tickets generation expected will be of today evening . we update the info by today evening .Please dont reproduce  use our info -www.auupdates.com  . 



 Important Note :The hall ticket was not  generated from coe portal for  those Who Have  Attendance   Below 75 % . 

 There is once chance for people who have above 63 % attendance to get hall ticket .If you Provide MC ( Medical Certificate ) you may get more 10-12% Attendance.

 consider the subject CS2301 in above example 

 Add Report 1 -4 Total Antecedence  & Attended Period Separately 

 Total working days:   19+7+25+10 = 61
Total Attended days:  19+7+25+10  = 61 
Convert attendance  it into Percentage 

                =  (Total Attended days / Total working days) * 100

 ie., (61/61)*100=100%
Internal Mark For Attendance % 
  • 75-80%-1 mark
  • 80-85%-2 mark
  • 85-90%-3 mark
  • 90-95%-4 mark
  • 95-100%-5mark

ie., 100% means 5 marks

Internal Marks For Assessment Exam 

 Add 3 assessments mark together 
Divide By 300 
And multiply by 15 .
That is your Internal Mark For Assessment test

  for example : 
 95+80+52 =227
227/300=0.7566 
0.7566*15 = 11.35 = 11



 Total Internal marks :
i)Mark Earned in Assessment 
=11

How To apply For Migration Certificate In Anna University ?

 The student shall apply for the issue of the Migration Certificate in the prescribed format as given below addressing to
 The Controller of Examinations, Anna University, Chennai-25.

          The fee for the issue of Migration Certificate is Rs.200/- (Rupees Two hundred only). 

         The DD drawn in favour of The Controller of Examinations, at Anna University, Chennai-25 payable at Chennai.
Xerox copies of Transfer Certificate should be enclosed.

 Xerox copies of provisional certificate should be enclosed.

 Self addressed Envelope stamped to the value of Rs.25/-(Rupees twenty five only) for dispatch of Migration Certificate.
